A new generation of security grilles has been created that combines physical protection with an integrated alarm sensor: alarmed grilles.
Despite their size and thickness, traditional grilles for windows, vending machines, etc., can be removed or cut by malicious individuals, and the safety of people or things is no longer guaranteed.
These grilles are specially designed to house a sensor cable inside them that detects any attempt to cut, deform, or tear the grille, generating an alarm. The sensor is compatible with any alarm control panel, even existing ones, through an NC contact. This solution can be used in various situations, both industrial and residential: windows, shutters, air vents, grilles, vending machines, etc.
The sensor is totally insensitive to vibrations: it is immune to false alarms and, while remaining active H24, does not interfere with the user’s daily life (it is not sensitive to the presence of plants, animal touch, or vibrations from traffic, machine tools, etc.).
