LiteFENCE Analyzer
Alarm sensor that detects intrusion attempts into the protected perimeter (break-in, climbing over, lifting the fence).
Anti-theft for flexible, temporary fences, barbed wire/metal rope
During an intrusion attempt, the deformation of the fiber, caused by climbing over or lifting the fence or opening a passage, is read by the LiteFENCE analyzer which triggers the alarm through an NC contact, connectable to any control panel or telephone dialer.
LiteFENCE is an analyzer that sends and receives an encoded light signal through the LiteWIRE plastic optical fiber. The received signal is analyzed by the sensor which, in case of variations due to cable deformation, generates an alarm.
Vibrations, on the other hand, do not create any variation in the light signal, therefore no alarm. This characteristic makes the system insensitive to false alarms.
The sensitivity level of the system can be adjusted and adapted to the environment and the needs of the installation. The sensitivity range of LiteFENCE has been optimized for the detection of mechanical stresses induced on the LiteWIRE plastic fiber installed on fences.
Following an alarm, if the fiber has remained intact, the system automatically rearms, adapting to the new configuration; the device also self-calibrates and compensates over time for meteorological and climatic variations, without requiring further adjustments.
LiteFENCE has an integrated optical power meter “Power Meter”, which detects the optical power of the signal output from the fiber. The “Power Meter” function helps the installer monitor that the LiteWIRE plastic fiber is laid correctly during installation or if adjustments are needed (checking cable ties, bolts, angles…).
LiteFENCE can be used in both ring and point-to-point connections, as well as cascade connections; the signal can be repeated by adding further devices. If the sensor is used as a signal repeater, the installer can decide whether to keep each individual alarm output separate or to group them.
